Which fmu ratio is the best

Hello, i want to know which fmu ratio will be the best for a ka-t, i have a friend who has a fmu that came from a 5.0 ford mustang and i do not know if that will be good.(He does not know the ratio too).thanks

if it was for a mustang it was probably 12:1 (most mustange kits are that)as for twhat disk 7:1 or 8:1 for 7-8 psi and you should be ok over that and your really pushing it. might even be causing the injectors to not shut

so the mustang fmu will not work. My car is a 95 240sx, my turbo is a t3/t4: . 50 A/R COMPRESSOR .63 A/R TURBINE.57 TRIMi still do not order the wastegate, so i want to know how much psi will be ok and what fmu should i use.

if it is a 12:1 it can technically work however you have you buy something to bleed it to let some of that pressure out. using a 12:1 disk to the fullest potentiol will cause you to end up with no fuel at all. it's just to much. i heard you can get a bleedvalve or whatever at a pet store for dirt cheap

run a 4:1 don't go over 5psi. run 6:1 or 8:1 dont go over 7psi. and If it's a 12:1 say goodbye to your walbro you just cooked it.-Dave

if the website is right, you have a bit more boost psi before the fuel pressure's "safe limit"
