Hey guys,

So I originally planned on reusing my NA midpipes for my TT conversion by using a set of J-spec downpipes (bolt right up from turbo to NA midpipe). I got the J-spec downpipes, but when I went to pull my engine I realized that my midpipes were pretty much seized to the stock exhaust manifolds. The bolts/nuts/flanges were so rusted they were essentially all one piece. So I ended up cutting the midpipes about 6-8 inches after where it meets the bottom of the manifolds.

Now what I need are NA midpipes that have cats on them. The only ones I seemed to find online are either straight-thru test pipes or test pipes with resonators on them. Does anyone know if they sell NA midpipes with cats on them, besides OEM ones??

Specialty Z does, or a cheaper option would be to get Megan or something test pipes and weld in some Vibrant cats or something.

Yeah I was thinking that I should just get a set of used test pipes and have someone weld in cats. It seems like the cheapest option

Be careful with buying used cats, its technically illegal to sell used cats as a repair/replacement part.

Nah I wasn't planning on getting used cats, just used test pipes and buy fresh cats. Magnaflow cats are ~$67 shipped on ebay

Now you can sell that HKS Crapower and get an exhaust that doesn't look like hippo hemorrhoids :lolling:

Good deal though!
