Which exhaust???

I currently have a Blitz Nur spec R catback exhaust. After getting my 3rd exhaust ticket, i have decided that its time i need to sell it so i can stop getting pulled over. I was looking into the RS-R Ex mag exhaust (stealth). It looks pretty decent, 80mm piping, stock looking tip. The only thing that bothered me was the SHARP angle near the end of the exhaust. It looks like its going to be a HUGE restriction!!! Nothing i know will flow better than the Nur spec R... im having second thoughts about the Ex mag, does anyone think this exhaust is any good??

80mm piping will flow plenty well even with a decent bend, still mandrel bent

apexi N1 exhaust is pretty friggin quiet. Even with a turbo and no cat.

I know they're super anal about that kind of thing in Cali but I have a 3" BRM exhaust w/ resonator and dual tip muffler. it sounds really mellow not too loud even at WOT and I'm running a test pipe at that.

California is SUPER STRICT about exhausts now. ANYHING thats even close to a shiny exhaust will get pulled over. My last exhaust ticket was $330 bucks and i got cited for 2 violations! One was modified exhaust system, the other one was repeated offense. I switched my exhaust out and got it cleared, but when i went to court, I STILL GOT CHARGED for the repeated offense! WTF?!?!? $220 charge even though i got it cleared...

weld your stock muffler on 3" piping? (after you gut it of course )

That's the sucky part. they leave things so open in the laws like the noise ordinance. I read a part in it that gives the cops free reign. instead of requiring them to use decibel meters the cops' discretion was all is required for the ticket. sucky indeed. I'm glad i live in boring old Kansas sometimes.

Cops here dont need to use decibel meters for exhaust. They changed the law back in January of 2003 that cops can use their own judgement and write you a ticket, then make you fight it in court. EVEN if you have stock piping and a aftermarket muffler thats quiet(like say, your stock muffler was corroded). Stupid california. I hate this place... cops must be jealous of me

man... all you ppl have bad luck... i live in cali and have the apexi gt spec exhaust, which has the largest non-custom piping of any 240 exhaust ( 3 3/4 inch), and i have never been pulled over.... even ran an empty cat for awhile.... oh well

Cali sucks man... alot of bandwagoners! Lots of kids here sold their hondas and bought 240's. Heres an example of a basic "JDM tYtEnEsS drifter": s13 hatch with tein basic coilovers, apexi N1/hks hiper exhaust, 15" mesh wheels painted gold, primered car, sleepy eyes... etc.... 90% of 240's that live in my area have that setup. Im pretty sure none of them have LSD and they always drive recklessly around town like theyre cool kids or something. IM glad i have a s14 with a Ka-T
