If you check our Modification databese thread... there will be a link in there with exhaust clips.

I personally went with Stillen... love it.. and have never once regreted my choice!

Also... if you go to You Tube and type in 'G35 exhaust', you'll come up with a TON of sound clips to make it easier to choose based on the exhaust note. I don't think that there is going to be an appreciable difference in performance between the different after market systems. I personally found a Greddy axle-back unit on e-bay for $275 that gives me just the extra sound I wanted, without paying a ton of cash... not to mention the ease of installation. I think it took me about 30 minutes. I guess it depends on what you want to accomplish with the change.

Agreed Joe... it sounds amazing! But for me the cost was a bit prohibitive.

I agree with G-Whizz. I have the Stillens as well. And I love the sound when I suddenly push the car.

Sorry to T/J.

Does the axle back GReddy exhaust get rid of that whining sound?

I know a lot of people like that, but I can't stand it. It makes me want to drive my I30. The cheapo Taiwanese muffler on that car sounds better to me than the G35 whine.

Were you talking to me Nate?I love my GReddy axle back. I'm not sure I know what whine you refer to. It has a nice low growl that is really reserved at low RPM, but coupled with my JWT and Ztube, really howls at higher RPMs.

Yes BigWill (sorry, I'm too lazy to go look at your profile and figure out what your "real name" is).

The G35, the FX35, and the 350Z all have a characteristic humming/whine with stock exhaust.

I can't help but look over my shoulder every time I hear it to see which of the 3 cars it is.

No worries bro... it's just a habit I have of looking up member's first names to use in replies. I've never heard any kind of whine with my system... just a good ol' hot ROAR!!

No, I want the sexy sounding one, not the whiny one lol.

Yeah, we'll have to get together with the other Cali members for a NICO race at one of the tracks!!!

i would see if u could find a shop to do a custom one. im personally gonna go with custom so i can pick out the cats i want and the mufflers. if i want low or high sound. plus it will prob cost me around like 400 bucks to 500 and knowing no one else will ever have it PRICELESS!
