yup, L31 = 2.8 block bored .120 over (yes tahts right .120 of an inch!) LD28 crank, 240Z rods, 240SX or custom forged pistons

anyways my motor's almost complete and this is a really old thread. For the newcomers that just read this thread, i chose my stock l28 and plan to turbo it. And i've learn lots about this motor thanks especially to evildky and my friend

I know it's pricey but it is one of the few Z's that I would consider an RB for. Saw a gold one that belonged to one of the ZofJapan guys at Long Beach ZCON a few years back. Got to actually sit in it for 3 laps.... it was freaking insane. It was one of the few cars that actually scared the crap out of me.

I was sold on that. I am trying to get that same feeling via a Z31. Trying to find one currently. Can't find a Shiro so i am gonna settle for a hardtop hopefully. Still looking.
