The s14 sr20det or the s15 sr20det with 6 speed trany Would be better and easier to get set up

ok let me not be a d!ck..d16z a honda motor sohc vtec 1.6 liter..

now for you question:the s14 sr would probably be the better and easier choice of the two swap. the wiring and fitment would be easier then the s15 sr,

the s15 sr transmission is weak, and it more expensive. not that much better gains.. yes the turbo is nicer, the vvt is nice also along with some other features. but over all not worth the extra price imo.

if you search youd see that this is cover to death, so you probably wont get much help because people are tired of answering the same question over and over again. so just search a little and have more specific questions. then post back up.

Yea the s15 transmission is soo weak...it starts breaking after 500whp and shiz.

Well is anyone making high power rebuilds for these 6 speeds?

If it were me I would go with a S15SR with a S14 5 speed.
