Which Engine???

Please forgive my ignorance but I am new at the nissan scene,Can someone tell me where I can find which engine I have in my 89240sx?I know its a sohc 2.4 liter with 12 valves and multiport fuel injection,but whats the model?I see all the ka24,bla,bla,etc...anyway please help so I can find the engine I need...thanks cj240sx

The DOHC comes with 155 hp, and the SOCH comes with 140, but the DOHC has twice as many valves, also has two cams, the SOHC, would be cheaper to improve, but it's enhancements wouldn't be as improving as the DOHC. BUT I don't know the possibilities of the DOHC, and the SOHC. The SOHC is easier (for the mechanic to impove. I dunno maybe I am talking out my A** but it's probably cheaper to go with the SOHC...
