I drive a 90 fastback w/sr, what different options do i have for getting a junkyard differentail?

stock 1990 diff, or the vlsd from the 240, i think the z32 diff can be modded to fit too. im not sure about the jdm ones-180/silvia...

you can swap the internals from the 300zx/j30 LSDs, or order a silvia/180sx VLSD that are a dirrect swap. There are some other ones too but im not sure about them.

If you get an LSD with a 5 bolt flange (like most R200V's), you need the axles for an LSD 240.

There are a couple rare instances of an R200V having a 6 bolt axle (which is what the open diff 240 drivers have); I believe the 95 J30 has 6 bolt output shafts.

Mine... I bought it modified. Someone had put 6 bolt output shafts in.

I bought Silvia/180sx VLSD with my clip and it has 6 bolt flanges. Installed with no problems. No rear cover swap and no S14 rubber bushings. Perfect for my S13 hatch.

so far the guy said i could get either a j30 z32 or 95 240 lsd? would any of these work?

the pumpkin goes right in. uses open diff axles. swapping the internals is a little more difficult(but possible)

for the z32: swap the rear covers, get pre95 J30 axles, and do something about the front rubber mounts.
