which coolant sensor wire?

so im hooking up my fan controller and one wire is supposed to go to OEM coolant temp sensor. question is, which sensor? im guessing the one to the ecu, and if its that one which wire should it be? thanks

I just verified this on mine. MY setup: R33 S1 RB25 + DiF fan controller.

SIGNAL wire is the purple, Ground is Black with Blue stripe.

Yes, the two-wire coolant temp sensor that goes to the ECU. Not the single wire, (which goes to your instrument cluster).

That is all for stock, unless you changed something..
