Hey guys, im new on here but have been reading alot of the subjects on here and my question is as stated in the topic. I have a 93 s13 hatch with a rebuilt KA24de. Its gutted so is pretty light. Only mods I have are OBX headers, HKS Hi Power Exhaust, and Ebay CAI. I want some coilovers that i will be able to daily drive in but be able to go autocross on the weekends and from time to time drift when possible. My friend has D2's and i think they are awesome but i dont want to get those if those arent the best choices i have. Ive researched and have found many coilovers but i want to see what you experts would recommend. I Guess money isnt an issue dont really want to spend more then 1800. Also if you didnt get coilovers what suspension mods would you do first. Thanks again guys

Many options to choose from, lots of reading about coilovers in just this forum section. I currently run D2s and more than happy with them, for every coilover there are going to opinions good and bad, its up to you to sift through the BS and make a decision.

kts from spl parts

http://www.splparts.com/

that would leave you over $600 with which you can get sway bars and bushings, if you want to use up the rest of that budget...youd be on your way with the suspension

+1. I have kts and love them. They are very stiff for daily driving, but bearable. Shocks have a huge range of adjustability, and provide very good damping. There are definately better coilovers out there, but kts are a great buy for the money, and as mentioned previously, you will then have extra for something else.

you can get JIC FLT-A1 for about the same $ as the KTS. They both have pillowball mounts and adjustable dampening. JIC is 1kg softer on the springs tho.

JIC and Tein's price effective competition are inferior to the KTS's from my experience.
