OK, I got an aps single turbo and my clutch is going out. I new it was going to happen. I have caught it in early stages. I really dont want to replace the flywheel but I may do it. Which clutches have you gone with for the forced induction 350s? I want to be able to drive my car on the street with no issues. Do you think that the flywheel must be replaced. I ordered the JWT clutch kit any others tried this kit? Any suggestions out there?

flywheel y? don't u just need a stronger pressure plate... a race grade plate won't give u any problems but daily driving is gonna be tricky, it's going to be much harder to push down and it's going to engage must faster... and it can still burn down if ur shift technique rides the clutch...you don't need a new flywheel but if ur replacing ur pressure plate, then why not upgrade the wheel since ur have it all taken apart anyway

your flywheel should be fine, just resurface it, as for clutch stick to name brands and you'll be ok, I like Competition Clutches and ACT

I'm prbobably going to go with a Spec Stage 3 clutch. Search the sponsers and make sure it can handle the amount of power you plan on putting out.

You will have to replace the flywheel period. The stock flywheels are dual mass flywheel and are not easily resurfacable. I am not going to say it can't be done but finding someone who can do it and do it right are going to be a bit difficult. I have contact info in my sig if you wanna talk more about it. I will be more then happy to assist in any way..
