I want to get an ACT clutch but i dont know which one to get. Theres one with a street/race disc 267lbs of tq and the other has a 4 puck disc with 342lbs of tq. my future plans is to have a ka24det with around 220 to 250hp.

I have the NX1-HDSS on mine... with heavy duty pressure plate and performance street disc.

Your ankle does get tired in HEAVY traffic but its not that bad. It does chirp a bit before the breaking in but overall a good improvement over OEM clutch

but the street/race and 267lbs of tq is $351 and the 4 puck and 351 lbs of tq is $326

why is the one that holds less tq more?

Because it is easier to manufacture and has a smaller market. Stick with an organic disc with a decent amount of marcel. We all know how future plans fall through, so there is no sense getting a rude clutch now. If and when the project calls for it, you can always go from there. Any puck-style is going to bite and chatter.

A 4 puck would be too much.

You want a sprung 6 puck, i dont think ACT makes them. Unsprung is a real bit ch.

another good choice for a daily driver is a SPEC stage 2. it is organic/kevlar with no puck. it has really smooth engagements and is good up to 300 ft.lbs or torque. i got it becuase i plan on going ka-t. another good choice is probly the act stage 3 6 puck clutch but it has a sprung hub making it streetable also. that ones good for a little more torque but it might be overkill. i say the spec stage 2 is fine for your needs.
