I know this is a little bit of topic but i thought it might help. I'm using the Centerforce DF clutch for a KA and indeed you have to remove the dowel pins and drill the holes out a bit. I wasnt expecting this at the time and was worried about balance and vibration coming from the pressure plate, flywheel, etc. Point is i got it on there and ive driven the car without any issues so far. I've read on here that a specific "CA" clutch like for a CA18ET, CA18 for example, will bolt on without any modifications. I wish i would've gone with that route but I'll just have to see how long this clutch lasts.
The Centerforce DF clutch feels great! The release is a little bit after the bottom of pedal travel and feels like stock. I kept the commonly bypassed "clutch damper box" and everything seems great. Besides the bleeding of the clutch system its all working the way it should! I am really happy with the way the clutch feels, very much like my old factory setup. I've also read that the SPEC clutches release more towards the top and the DF isnt like that. Oh also the clutch disc is sprung. If its a daily id say you probably are going to want it sprung as an unsprung disc will have a harsher more intense engagement. As you might already know, the springs are there to cushion the blow so without these more of the force will be transferred throughout.
