Im getting ready to do a clutch job before I turbo my car in a couple months.

My set up will be very mild around 200whp. I was wondering if this ebay clutch would be alright. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW anyone have any experience with them? I don't want to spend $400 on a clutch kit for only 200whp. Any recommendations for the most cost effective clutch.

What do you think about this setup:

ebay turbo manifoldT25 off an sr20stock smic and piping with stock bov/recirc at 7psi off an sr370cc injectorsenthalpy ecuoil line kitBrand name air filterwalbro fuel pump

I know the enthalpy tune is kinda overkill, but I want to be safe with a well tuned ecu from a reputable company.

Give me some advice.

thanks

Yeah that clutch will probably work, just know that you get what you pay for. Also that setup will probably put out more than 200 hp expecaly at the crank. Do you want to buy a clutch and then get the itch and want to put more power down and then have to change your clutch again?

You also might want to upgrade your fuel filter to like a z32 something bigger to make sure you have the fuel there. Yeah you don't really need it for your setup but it is cheap and wont hurt anything.

Setup looks good for your goals just know that it is addicting and most likely you will want to put out more power and turn up that boost.

Not sure about their clutches. I have their full chromoly flywheel and it's great.I have an ACT Extreme Pressure Plate, with an F1 'brand' 6-puck they hooked me up with. I'm making a little over 300whp I think and it's holding up good. Hope this information helps bro.

I ran the stock clutch at 6 psi on a T3/TO4E and it held pretty good. Though I swapped it out not long after. 200whp isn't really very much and most aftermarket clutches will handle at least 250 before they crap themselves. I'm a wary shopper though. Some things I'm fine with on EBay, some I'm not. The clutch spins pretty fast, I'd hate to see that dude una$$ itself and cut your legs off...

You should'nt be worried about how much HP the clutch will hold b/c clutches are not rated this way. They are rated by the amount of torque they hold not hp.

Agreed, except with the ka it's not that much of a big deal since at those numbers, the tq is pretty much the same as the hp

I personally wouldn't trust an ebay clutch. Haven't heard much about this brand, but you get what you pay for, and who knows what could happen. ACT HDSS would hold probably up to 300, any higher you would want Xtreme. I am an ACT guy, so just making a suggestion.
