which carb to go with

theres the link from who i was going to order from, which do you think is the best

i was thinking about ordering the " 36 Syncro" for $280

i have money to play with but i dont want to go bigger unless i can find a side draft kit .. does anyone know if exist for this truck , i have a 1985 z24 2wd truck

I forgot what size I got but the weber is freaking so easy to mess with. I like it. If you need more fuel just increase the jetting.

they'll all work...

depends on what you're after... fuel economy and driveability or performance.

So if the plan is to build a hotter motor, cams, headers, more compression, etc, the 36 syncro would be better.

If you just want a great running truck that gets good gas mileage, and performs better than the stocker, get the 32/36.

I ran the 32/36 on my truck when I had the Z24 in it, and I was a real happy camper.

The 34mm Weber will be somewhere inbetween the two, so it might be a better option for you, but don't expect the mpg you'd get with the 32/36.

IMO, the performance between the 32/36 and the 34mm is negligible, at best, so if it were me, I'd have the 32...

Only reason I don't have the 32/36 and the Z24 is that the engine liked to blow head gaskets, and I was tired of swapping them, and the cost to rebuild was the same as to add a later model KA with fuel injection...
