OK im shippin off to the AirForce in 12 days. When I come back I can buy myself a new car. I have bee thinkin bout this for months and sill dont know what I want..I narrowed it down to 3 cars and by this been a nissan website. I'm kinda scared to mention one of the cars cause I know everyone is bout to dog on them.. I just like the way they handle..The first car is a 350z.. the second car is a rx8 and the third car is a 95 240sx..The first 2 cars that i mention are bone stock.. But the 240sx is fully built with a stock t28 turbo and stock injectors dyno at 269rwhp..I havent had time to drive the 240sx but, I have drove the other 2..Which one of these cars u think would be the most fun.. I have no clue what 269rwhp will feel like in a 95 240sx.. All I know is my buddy has a stock 2006 rx8.. and my other buddy has a ford lightin with a programmer and pullies. Would they be able to walk over me or am I just under estimatin this 240... And if it has 269rwhp what could be the numbers at the crank??I know this is probally a stupid forum but, I want to know.. Thanks for takin ur time to read this

I just sat in a new RX8 last week while waiting for my V to get out of the shop (there is a Mazda dealer right next door and my wife had to pick up some touchup paint for her 3...so no...I wasn't cheating on my V)..and it was pretty sweet. I think it was one fully loaded because it was in the show room and just looked mean. It had an extended low skirt in the front. Pretty cool.

The only advice I can give - Stay away from the RX8. I had one for 3 years. They have (motor & other) problems and the support f/ Mazda and dealers is terrible. They are so bad that when the tow truck driver picked it up he asked if the problem was XX, it WAS! Tow truck driver says he tows RX8's all the time. That is bad when tow truck driver knows what is wrong w/ car! Mazda's answer - it needs spark plugs. Of course the problems kept re-occuring. That is 3 years of my life I'd like to get back. Plus the car is cheap, hard to get in/out, the center stack is confusing - three years of my life I'd like to get back. BTW: I am a major rotary fan. Had 2 previous RX7's - even raced one. The RX8 - bad news.

I also had a G35 (same as Z) great car, I liked it alot.

They killed the RX line with the RX8. I wouden't go for an older 240 unles syou also have the money to keep it running well. Guaranteed it's been run hard, no one babbies a 240sx. The 350z will be the best bet I think. I also turned in my G35 for the V and it was a great car. It'll make you nervous after the warrenty is void, but those 60k miles sure are fun... I drive cars pretty hard.. The V doesn't know what's going on, but it makes it...

I'd say 350Z for sure. The RX8 is a neat car but it just doesn't feel quite that right. The 350Z has a much more solid feel to it and the engine's better for stop and go driving. I always thinks it's better to get a new car then a beat up old thing so that's the 240 out of there. For me it's just for the peace of mind when I take a long trip etc.

Congratulations on joining the USAF! Whatever you do, stay the hell out of medhold (aka the 319th TRS). Do what they say, never question them, and remember; it's all head games. To answer your question; go for a new or low-miles 350Z; that car will last you many many years, and it'll be your toy, not someone else's used-up toy.

Best of luck!
