I would suggest moving this to general chat and out of the 350z section. You'd get more traffic of people that might have a better chance of knowing rather than trying to get the info from a section of the forum that is dedicated to a single type of car........and it's not either of those.

The VR-4's stock turbos are TD04 9bs which I believe are slightly smaller than the 300zx. I know the stock Z turbos are capable of a couple more psi than the 3000gt. The housing is about the same size though.

the Z32 turbo's are a garret T25 each flowitn only around 20 lbs/min, I have no idea what the size or flow rate of the mistu turbo's are

the stock Z32 turbo's properly tuned maxout around 400 whp

and of course the Z33 did not come with turbo's

As far as I can tell, the 3000GT used Mitsubishi TD04-09B turbos. Not sure how it compares to a T25, but a T3 can support more than 100 CFM at 14.7 psi.

I've never seen a turbo rated cfm at any given psi, that would indicated speed over time at a given pressure, as the pressure changes so would the flow rate due to the increased density of the air, most turbo's are rated in lb's/min which indicated a volume over time my T3O4e is rated at 53 lbs/min, I don't think I've seen any T3 architecture turbo exceed 80 lbs/min, whihc would be enough to make around 800 hp and that really maxes out the amount of air the T3 fram can haldle, honesly if you are going over 600 hp you should considder a t4 frame

I've seen compressor maps using both. I agree the CFM rating leaves a variable, but I think its based on sea level ambient pressure. I went off what I found on some sight about the 3000GT. And unfortunately, their maps listed the flow rates in CFM.
