1) which cams was it from what 240 that i could get an exhaust cam and put it in as my intake cam? Do i have that right by the way? I havent had a 240 in years. Dont have one now either, doing my 95 Altima now.

2) I have a 98 motor going into my 95 altima. KA motor. Can i not just use the 95 exhaust cam as my intake cam for the 98 motor? Is there any difference in performance? There is a noticable difference when removing the valve covers.... the 95 altima head has a dual timing chain, where the 98 has a single chain.

ANY HELP?

'91-'94 s13's had a 240 degree intake cam and 248 degree exhaust cam. s14's had 232 intake and exhaust cams. You can play with them, some cause you to lose bottom end but gain up top, and vice versa. Here...

thanks for the link. i have searched alot but keep getting confused on what to do. i think i am understanding to use both cams from the older 240 correct? I didnt know that there was a power loss at top or bottom. Now, is there a hybrid like deal we can do with the cams? keep one of the newer cams and replace one with the older cams so that we keep all the power?

pretty much any time your messing with cams your likely to affect the power band...

Alot of people use dual exhaust cams from s13's if im not mistaken...run a search for something along the lines of "s13 exhaust cam"
