Which cams should i swopp for???

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Please help i am new to the Nissan game, i was just wondering i own a 99 Nissan Altima and i believe that it is a ka24de engin, i was wondering what would be the best cam's to swop in.

what other mods are you planning for the car. That will determine what kind of cam you will need.

Like he said, it really depends on what you are planning. If you are going turbo, they make cams for a turbo setup that wouldn't help out a NA engine, and vice versa. Once you start shopping you will see what you get from the different cams - some will hurt low end and help higher RPM's, and some will do the opposite. Do some research, plan it out, and then shop around before making your final decision.

try the the cams on the ka24e, they are more advanced. This is why the old ones have a higher rev limit.

The KA24E is a single cam. And as far as I know you can't shove 2 into a DE because of the lobes. Completely different head.

Jim Wolf Tech makes some cams, or they used to anyway, designed to work with either NA or turbo depending on the timing.
