which cams are better- 92 or 95 240sx

I know that the cams are different in one of the years but i just can't remember which year... the lift and duration on one of the is longer and higher than the other.... does anyone know...:confused: :help :confused:

i'm pretty sure it's the 92 cams that are higher. I'm not that far into my project yet, but I just hear a lot about swapping out for the 92 cams.

IIRC the 92 cams are only slightly better. They were a middle step down from the fairly aggressive 91 cams. I could be wrong though.

I would think that the cams would be the same. Although if they were I wouldnt' understand why everyone would say to use 92 cams.

91-at least part of 93 are all the same, I've heard varying things about 93 and 94 cams being different but my fsm still lists them as being like 240/248 for the 93-94. 95 and up is 232/232 iirc.

all s13 dohc cams are 240/248.

all s14 cams are 232/232.

will the 92 s13 dohc cams fit in a 95 240sx?If so how much more power will it give me. B/c of right now my power realy kicks in at about 3750-4000. any thing belowe that and theres not that much power. or where could if find some realy good cams that will give me a good power bust. I will be using my car for a weekend road racer/ drag racer mostly drag raceing.then diring the week it will be a daily driver to go back and forth to work. Thanks for any help.
