which cai intake to buy?

ive been reading about which cold air intake to buy for the last few hours on a few different g35 forums. ive read the r2c is the best and ive also read the jwt pop charger with the z tube is the best. can someone who has experience write me back? thanks (:

Welcome to NICO! ! I had the same car!

For the mods, search some older posts...tons of info. The g-series FAQ would be a good place to start.

For the CAI, I'd go with the R2C because its a dry filter. They are better for the MAF electronics than oil-coated filters. With your car, I'd also recommend an intake spacer and a motordyne lower plenum. The mods will give you a great bump in power and sound! Finish it off with a cat-back exhaust and a tune.

My only word of caution is when you modify the clutch / flywheel, don't over-do-it. To light of a flywheel and you will have chatter. Only use the stage of clutch that matches your HP. sometimes less is more.
