So I bought an Evo XL Sparco seat awhile back, with buddy club side mount seat rails. Needless to say the seat was too wide for both the seat rails and the car itself. And when I did get it bolted in, the seat was way too high! I'm 6'3" and weight in over 240 lbs. The Evo XL seat was a little wide on fit for me, the Evo L would be perfect (for size reference).

I want to get a nice bucket seat (prefer non-reclining, but I'll take what I can get at this time), so does anyone have experience with a setup that fits us "bigger guys"? My main thing is the seat rails, I need a seat that sits low enough that I'm not hitting my head on the roof with a helmet on. On stock S14 seats I have to recline the seat 2 notches with a helmet. With no helmet, I don't have to recline at all.

the only non-stock seats i've sat in in an s13 were the Nismo (fake) reclining seats. I thought they were very comfortable and i sat at a perfect height. Not sure of what rails he used, tho.

and i'm about 6' 4" & around 260 lbs.

I need a circuit style race seat, but I'm a big guy with a small car, ha ha.

im 6"1 and 280lbs and i think the s15 seats are perfect for me they have bigger bolsters then the stock seat and seat low like the stock seats and there pretty comfortable

I'd love to rock those in the convertible, but I need a seat that will hold me in on track days, lol
