My new G20 has Brembo se-R Spec V brakes. Are these better than the stock 300zx TT brakes? If they are, could I swap them on the cars or would you recomend it? The Brembos are kind of overkill for a basically stock SR motor but my Z could use something better. Should I swap them out?

Alright, forget that idea...well I guess bigger brakes are not a bad idea on a car that will be carrying my kids around...

Yeah, that is what I was going to go with. I was just hoping to save some money. Thanks for the suggestion though ;)

I always upgrade the brakes on my dailys, before power or anything else.

^^^I'm probably going to buy this kit for a long, but temporary solution. It'd be sufficient with good pads, fresh fluid, and a master cylinder brace. Add SS lines for even better brake feel. Even after you buy all of that, it'd still be a hell of a lot cheaper than the SZ kit and should yeild similar, if not slightly better performance - the SZ kit retains stock calipers and stock rotor size.

EDIT: just got a reply from Ash - you need a 17" or larger wheel for this to fit. Bummer..
