hiI have BOTH front & rear brake calipers on my S13.I'm looking for a brake master cylinder that has SAME SPLIT POINT as 1st generation(90~96) Q45.

I tried to use Stock Q45 brake Master cylinder but it only had two holes which directly goes to ABS system.

My can doesn't have ABS and it needs 3 lines from 3 holes. 2 for the front and 1 for the rear(later divide into 2).

What other nissan brake master cylinder has same/similar brake split point? (for proper?, safer? and better? braking)

I could found lots of info from Q45.org but couldn't find any other car's info.little help please. Posted it here because it's a Q brakes!!!!

Have you tried the 240 forum? I am sure you are not the first to put Q brakes on your S13.

I would think all you need to do is come out of the front to the frame rail, then put a splitter to run to both front calipers, similar to what the back does.

Tried 240 forum, but answer was uncleard. Some said old Z is 15/16 inchier, some said leave the stock 240 M/C alone.......

Then how about 300zx? it's 17/16. Is it too big?????

I understand your logic, as we should be able to help with a Q45 "parts" question, but no one here has ever bothered to swap out the MC, we've got a couple who've done caliper/rotor upgrades and they just put adapters/change lines on the caliper side ... since the Q MC is one of the strongest Nissan offered.

The bottom line is,there is no Q45 MC that will go right inot a non ABS 240.

bump from the dead

I'm thinking about using the 1" '94(1st gen) q45 BMC for my s14 for turbo clearance so I can do a z32 brake upgrade. I already tee'd my 2 front brake lines into 1 so the Q BMC would be perfect.

I know there are some of you guys that did the z32 brake swap on the Q45 using the stock BMC but I'm wondering what the stock brake bias is on the q45. In the FSM under the specifications of the brake system it should specify the splitting point and the reducing ratio of the BMC. Any help is appreciated, thanks

Split point x reducing ratio: 3,923 x 0.4 kg/cm2
40,569 x 0.4 psi
