I have a Autometer gauge, gauge on Greddy profec B-Spec 2, and the Zeitronix Boost Sensor 50 PSI (3.5 Bar) absolute pressure that is connected to my Zt-2 Wideband Controller and logged by my palmpilot. The palmpilot is logging the boost at 10-11psi and the greddy says that it is at 12-13psi. Both the Greddy and Zeitronix Boost Sensor are on the same vacum line. I am pretty sure the Zeitronix is alot more accurate but want to make sure with you guys. The autometer is just there to give a reference of boost and to watch the needle move around. I can get 1psi with the car turned off so not that accurate.

Thanks,

I would prob trust the greddy over the other one...

I have a autometer and greddy profec b spec II and both are the same...

So you saying the greddy is more accurate then the Zeitronix map sensor? Now I am really not sure which one is more accurate I am going to do more test after work tomorrow just to make sure they are not reading the same. Need to look at both the palmpilot and greddy at the same time to see if they read the same or not.

Hate to turn this issue to mud, but where do they sample from. If one samples before the IC and one after, then you will end up with different results.

All of them are behind the throttle body. The autometer is on the FPR line and the Greddy and Map sensor are both on the vacum line that is under the throttle body. After work I am going to make a few runs and check them out. Maybe they are the same when you look at them at the same time.

I would bet the Zeitronix gauge is more accurate then the other gauges you are using. Dam thing is 109 bucks and it has no display but I am buying it since I want to datalog.

Hey quick question on your Zeitronix boost gauge. What else do you have to purchase with the gauge to install it? Do you have any pics?

Thanks

Actaully I did not get the Zeitronix gauge thing. I used the pocketlogger software that uses a palmpilot to show and data log everything. I will take a pic and post it. Also I did some testing and the Zeitronix map sensor on my palmpilot showed max of 12.3 and the greddy showed max of 14.2. 2 psi difference is a pretty big difference. I really need to know which one I should tune my boost to?

You'd need a vacuum pig, or can or whatever you want to call it, a standalone vacuum canaster with seperate lines run to each gauge to have any chance of a fair comparison. I ran autometer liquid filled gauges in my Skyline for 4 years...worked awsome. My Blitz gauge always read slightly less...

Dam that looks good! Do you have any pics of the actual device connected to your vacuum line?

here is the link to the Map Sensor. http://www.zeitronix.com/order/order.htm

scroll down to Zeitronix Boost Sensor, 50 PSI (3.5 Bar) absolute pressure for $109

From my post in http://www.ka-t.org it is a kavlico map sensor that is used in the AEM standalone and other standalone systems I beleive.

Also to clear up how i have them connected. There is a hose coming from the vacum port that is under the throttle body. Then goes over to the bov where it is T-off. one side goes to the bov and other one goes into the cabin though the firewall. then once inside the cabin it is T again. one side goes to the zeitronix boost sensor and the other to the Greddy EBC.

The autometer gauge is on the FPR line

i would recomend try them all from the same source or using a vaccum block and if they still don't read the same then i would still prob trust the zeitronix over a simple boost gauge

Well I moved the Boost sensor into the engine bay and is connected to the FPR line. Now it reads correct, I think the issue was that it was behind the Air filter thing that comes with the boost controller. That is the only thing I can think that would make it read lower.
