Im taking a poll to find which bodykits/mod that people like the best for the vert. Im doing a KA-T build at the moment and am planning on repainting and kitting the car. So which one should i go with? Car is going to be painted either black, flat black with gloss red in areas or gunmetal. All rims that i am considering i would like to be black with polished lip. so hope that gives you an idea what i am invisioning.

Lifted, on 22s, Austin Mini front conversion, sidepipes, rumble seat in the trunk.

... or just do what you think looks good.

All you really need to do is get a Xenon lip, some wheels with nice offsets, and a low stance. If you do with a Silvia front end, a pignose lip would compliment it well. Verts have clean lines from the factory and while there are a select few kits that look good, it really isn't necessary imo...especially those "drift style" kits that make your car look like a street sweeper. If you go with a kit, go with something subtle.

Vertex, Version: Select, INGS+1, Uras, have some nice kits.

Also, check out the two vert galleries to see if you find something you like. Try searching "body kits" also. There was a thread on what everyone liked and you should be able to find some good info in there too.

I agree. The Chuki is beautiful and just needs a little tweaking to turn the heads of bystanders.

what do YOU think looks good?

if you are building this for yourself, you should do just that... if you need ideas, there are plenty of post pics of your car (and I believe there is a verts w/ body kits thread on here somewhere).

if you are building this so other ppl will like it, easiest is slammed w/ some low offset rims & stock aero all around (either type-x front or silvia front).

if you are trying to be original... that will be almost impossible, almost everything has been done or is being done - car's been out too long to be completely original.

honestly im going for alittle of everything, show, looks, myself and for fun. I love the pics of all verts and just wanted an idea of what most people prefer that is all. I have the thread saved with the verts all with diff. front ends and love all of them. you cant really go wrong with any of them.

I didn't like pig nose until I saw this picture. When it's done right, both pig and shark noses look gorgeous.

Pigs can look ok on a hatch (e.g. eds13's car), but the "nostrils" make an S13 look too weak and '80s. The pignose front does not sync at all with a vert body.

Before my coworker saw my car, he noticed a red pignose parked on the street, said "THAT is the sports car you bought?" and laughed. He had a different opinion once he saw the Chuki.

^ Love that Silvia coupe - one of my faves.

well said!!! you should go with what you like. your the one that has to look at your car everyday and if you do it just so to please other people then eventually you grow tired of the look you chose. Eventually you will end up looking for some other look and never be happy with your car. just my 2cents
