I have read the comments regarding the phones people have tried and none of them appear to be very good. I am with Sprint and my contract is coming up this week. They came out with a Samsung A900. I wondered if anyone has tried it or if it even works with the M35? I have had my car about one week and want to get the bluetooth phone for it. I would switch carriers if someone found a great phone. Thanks

I have had my M for about 3 weeks. I have used the speakerphone 10 or 15 times with my motorola razr. I don't have any problems. I have not had to deal with call waiting yet so I am not sure about that. As far as clarity, volume and ease of use, I have no complaints. I did have to load my phone book into the car one contact at a time, but I don't think that this is unique to the razr.

Let us know what you decide. If I were buying a new phone, I would test them out until I found one that works really well.

Your suggestion to test them is a good one. The problem is getting a phone for an hour or so to try it. Every company I talked to said I have to sign a contract and then have 15 days to return it if it doesn't work. Then I have to pay for "usage" which would mean about $30.00 a try. I was trying to avoid that by posting this message. The Razor is at the top of my list right now. I don't have that many numbers to put in so doing it by hand shouldn't be a problem. I hope I hear from someone that has the Samsung A900 too.

If you are techie enough, the Samsung SCH-i730 is nice. Not a truly consumer phone, though. And it is a PDA which is great for checking email, the web, and editing Office apps remotely.

Yup, I really like my SCH-i730. Even got it to work reasonably cleanly with a new M45. However, I recently upgraded the phone software for the voice recognition and I am no longer sure what it will do with the M system.

Definitely try before you buy! Take the car over to the Verizon dealer and "attach" the bluetooth in the i730 to the setup to the car and see how it sounds for you with calls, etc. Before you buy, of course!

I just bought the Motorola V360 as it was recommended by Infiniti. I am going to set it up today. I will report back after I see how it works in the car.

My 06' M35 works great on almost all levels with my Nextel i870. I'm satisfied.

Yesterday I bought the Motorola V360. I tried to get it to work by myself but ended up going to my dealer. He was very nice and did it for me. Even helped me put in the Voice command. Everything works great. I love the feature. Thanks to everyone for their input. Onemulligan

Motorola RAZR here too. Works great in the M35. Clear and easy.

My experience is as follows:

My LG PM350 (Sprint): works fine, but the speakerphone needed to be adjusted in the 'hidden settings' part of the command system. The speakerphone is still a bit woolly and could be clearer.

My brother's Treo (Cingular): Bluetooth does not connect at all (is always being dropped)

My mother's RAZR (Cingular): Works best of all the phones. Instant connection, and good sound.

Hope this helps,

Antoni

Verizon RAZR for two months with no problems. I also tried my friend's Sprint Treo 650 and it sounded great.
