Intakes do very little BECAUSE there is very little intake restriction to try to reduce.

Engine longevity suffers from poor air filtration and NOTHING beats OEM in that regard. Allowing more dirt into engine is a poor trade off for 1-2 HP.

has anyone tried to call Berk tech lately? I've been calling for 3 days and can't get an answer. No responses to e-mail either. I want to buy a berk intake. Anyone gotta used one they want to turn loose of?

You should go for Injen, no doubt. I have a 99 max and she roars with the Injen CAI. I know a couple guys with 03 and with an Injen CAI, and man that sounds amazing! Injen!!!

I just bought a fujita and someone dynoed it and gained 10 hp but lost 1 ft lb of torque.It might help with additional mods.

I had an injen intake on my 2000 max. For the price tag u get some pipe, a filter, a maf adapter, and a lisence plate frame. Not worth it. Trust me i was dissapointed when i opened the box. After awhile I sold the injen and made my own short ram for about $50 including a new filter. The short ram sounds alot better and has a very slight increase in throttle response. Both felt like they had the same power.
