i read something on air filters that the cone filters (K&N, for example) were not as good as the fume type (HKS) when it comes to turbocharged engines. i try to relocate that info, but i had no luck doing so. if anyone with info, please gave me some advice, because im about to buy an air filter for my car. sr20det red top. i did some searching on this forum, but i didn't see any topics referring to this, though.

there was a review done by some japanese magazine that tested bunch of filters... I dont want to find that article again but its out there.

Best was Apex'i filter and it was the cleanest as well... From what I remember, Greddy and HKS was pretty sh!tty

My two choices.

If you're going to be using a Z32 MAFS then I would go with the JWT pop charger if you are going for HP #s if you want better filteration then go with the Apex-i. I'm thinking myself, looking into the JWT pop charger for the 350Z. Its designed alittle bit different from the 300ZX pop charger.

my 2 cents....... Jeremy
