Ya, a z32 will work, I am using it, there are two on the z32 left and right, both are the same, the Dealer might tell you there is a third one, ignore it, tell him you need the the one that is right off the turbo downpipe.It is approx 100USD,

LOL,

Both sensors left and right have the same part#, make sure you go to the dealer and show them on their system where the O2 sensors are located on the z32, the reason I said that is that I ordered an 02 sensor from Nissan and they claimed that it got 3 sensors while in reality it got only 2 but their system shows 3 with 2 different prices. The o2 sensor that you want is located on the downpipe on the on the twin turbo version, you can show them that on their pc diagram system to insure they get you the right one.

The Twin turbo one is the same as the N/A one, on the N/A they are located right on the exhaust manifold closer to the firewall ( both TT and N/A are located close to the firewall)

The price should be around 100USD.

Well what year 300zx?i'm trying to get it from a dealer on the advertisers special forum.i searched for a 1991 300zx.This is the picture i was shownhttp://www.midwaypartsteam.com...8.jpgand here is the page on which the sensors are http://www.trademotion.com/par...gid=1 . I was searching while i was finding the links to write this post and i found that the 84-86 300zx both turbo and non has only one o2 sensor and its priced at about $67. So which one should i get?better yet, if you have the part number then i can order it straight up.

Hi,

All z32 300zx came with 2 O2 sensors, not three, I know Nissan system shows a third one located on the CAT but that isn't true.

You need the one from 1990-1996 300zx, The one you need is with part # 22690 or 22690+A, both are identical except the +A part # has a long wires, but the both O2 sensors have the same hardware specs.Both O2 sensor 22690 or 22690+A are long enough for your carPULSAR GTR

i was told that an o2 sensor from an '88 pulsar would work as well. is this correct?

If it was a 94+ vehicle, wouldn't it have to have a downstream o2 sensor by the CAT? I thought that was manditory as of OBDII. I could very well be mistaken though.

OBDII was introduced in 1996 and Only this year for 300zx came with OBDII capability which had a downstream O2 sensor on the Cat.O2 sensor for 88 pulsar or any pulsar won't work, way too small plus it got one wire(orange) while the stock one is much bigger and got 3 wires.

I need a little guidance. I don't see a good place that shows thread sizes on the O2 sensor, The new O2 sensor that arrived for my 1986 300zx won't fit the hole in my exhaust system. The old one measures 11mm and the new one measures 17mm with the micrometer. Does anyone have any idea which brand has the smaller threading? I can't tell from the pictures.

I think you'd be better served posting in a different sub-forum. This sub-forum is for a different engine than what's in your Z31, and it's referencing the O2 sensors in the Z32.

You want to post in here;
