Yo, I'm still looking for a 240sx, and i need your help to choose which one is best for me.

89 240sx blue, pig nose. http://tulsa.craigslist.org/cto/971718190.html This has rust, 150,xxx miles, and a dent on the driver side that came from a hit and run from the previous owner. the price is $1000(I will see if I can knock the price down a little)

89 240sx black, pig nose. http://oklahomacity.craigslist....html Has rust, broken exhaust, 8xmiles, duck tape to hold up the driver side pop up light, and driver side fender damage. $1200( he will through in a RB20 for $700 more. i will knock the price down a little, I may not buy the engine)

Please try explain your choice. Thanks in advance for helping me with my search!

If your looking for a project car to swap the motor without screwing yourself to bad with money go for the blue. You can easily knock out the dent and respray the car a nice blue. Sr20s are not expensive so the blue will be easier to make it look respectable and cheaper.

I would go for the coupe personally, since its running and the price isnt bad. Why pay for 1k for a not running 240? Also, did u check out both of the cars? take a look at them, the first one might be a simple fix or something, but I doubt it.

if it has rust dont buy it. plain and simple. you will hate yourself for it in the long run. trust me. i thought the rust on my car was "fixable" when i bought it. now it needs an entire rear QP... so i bought a clean shell from cali

I will check the rust, no doubt about that. I don't have time to piece a shell. I already stated I'm going to keep the engine. I'm planning on looking at these cars in the next week when they are available. But thanks for taking your time and helping me out with getting a car. I appreciate this info.

hey thomas, have you asked why the hatch isnt running? he isnt very discriptive. if its just a battery or something that will help you negotiate. IF it is something major (thrwn rod, unassembled) dont even bother negotiating. buy both
