On my 07 sedan there is no transmission dipstick. The transmission is no longer designed to be owner serviceable.

I have my fluid changed every 20k for $140 at the dealership there is NO serviceable filter.

it is located at the back of the engine... and is held tight by a 10mm bolt...

Some of the earlier 03 maybe some 04s don't actually have a stick they have a tube but only the dealer has the correct tool to measure it. I find it's easiest to remove the 4x 10mm bolts for the engine cover, you will then be able to get to the trans dip stick at the right rear of the intake manifold.

Be sure to check the fluid at operating temperature on level ground.

Good choice with the 37
