wheres my steering?

my steering wheel like "glides" when im at or above 60 mph. it feels like the wheels are just moving back and forth when im holding the wheel straight. i know its somekind of bushing, but im dumbfounded as to which bushing it is, any ideas?

It could either be your tie-rods or your tension-rods. Look under the car at the front suspension and see if you can see any of the bushings leaking.

mine had a dead spot in the middle, was due to worn inner tierods, you can pick up moog inners for the z for about 50$US and now my steering is wicked-tight (a MUST when you're running wide tires on uneven roads).

sounds like the steering rack bushings, it allows the rack to slide back and forth a bit, but when it gets bad it feels like a lot! the drivers side bushing on a TT is a real bear, if I had it to do over again I'd unbolt the engine and lift it an inch or 2
