ive read that a good bang for the buck is to install a adjustable fpr, what static line pressure is a good starting point for a rb20det stock injectors stock boost(i may turn it up to 12psi)??

leave it alone

you have no reason to up your fuel pressure just for a couple extra PSI of boost on a stock engine.

i think hes just asking what it SHOULD be after he installs a afpr. an AFPR is a good thing to have since the stock fpr can become overwhelmed if your using a walbro 255lph or something similar. The stock pressure should be set around 43.5 psi ( without vacuum ).

ok, Im installing a nismo fpr as soon as my gauge arrives. so basically, you install the gauge inline between the fuel filter and the fpr. leave the vacuum line disconnected, start the motor. then adjust the fpr to the specified pressure while at warm idle. then turn the car off, attach the vaccum line, and take her for a ride. Am i missing anything? what should a rb20det run for fp? about 38psi?

Thats the sticky about the fpr from 240sxforums RB boards. They say 43psi with the vacuum line off. They say it doesnt matter what it is at when the vacuum line is on b/c different idle situations will yield different vacuum pressures the only reliable way is to set it with the line off. I need to go back and make sure mine is correct. I can't remember what I set it at.
