where to start ??

so i have a 1990 bone stock 300zx TT , with a healthy engine with roughly 155k on it, at first i was thinking of selling the car but now im considering keeping and i was wondering where would you guys recommend i start with the car ? which mods do you guys recommend i start with? :crazy:

new to the forum but im a Nissan tech in B.C. I would reccomend just giving it a good once over and make sure everything is leak free and running well with fresh fluids and all that good stuff. just make sure you have good solid foundation before you start turning up the boost or whatever you plan to do. its a 90's sports car so checking over all the rubber under the hood is a good idea too, specifically vaccum lines, coolant lines, etc. nice looking ride by the way

i want something in between a weekend cruiser but with a well build suspension not pro status but decent , the budget for the car is in between 500-800 a month depending on the queen of the house haha . and thanks man i appreciate it. that was my plan for the next weekend :bigthumb:

i also heard that some people put chips in the cars, like i said im not a pro tuner lol but i wanna learn as i go , i really like my z and i want to take the rights step with it so it doesnt end up a ricer fiasco lol

Shooey gives good advice, start there and be SURE your TT is working correctly in ALL ways...then check the thread at the top of the Z32 general page with
"Everything you want to know about the Z32", moving down to "destroying the world in your Z32" for the technical advice.
It covers the major mods as well as some other things, and after that you should be on your way to whatever level of fun you want from your Z!
