Alright i have a TO4E Top mount turbo setup with a external XS power waste gate and theres two nipples off the wastegate and im not sure if i have them correctly lined.

I have both of them in a "T" and then it routing back to the TB. Is that right?

Also i have another question. I took it for a drive tonight(first drive with new setup) and i got back and my turbo was glowing cherry red. I installed my skinniest oil restrictor in my fitting. Is that my problem? For now i just took it out but i havent driven the car yet. Hopefully that was my problem. And if i dont put a restrictor back in, wont the seals go bad quick?

Got any more info on the car? Is it tuned? Your restrictor shouldn't be the problem. How many pounds of boost are you on.

Its not tunned yet. But its just running on a PFC on the base tune. I also have a Adj FPR at like 42psi. Im also just using the stock wastegate spring at 12 psi. Also i think i have my hoses ran wroung because i could never reach the full 12 psi because i wopuld run out of rpm...

Ok so i figured out that the one on the side of the WG is the atmospheric nipple, so i closed it off but im still wondering if its ok to run the wastegate in a T with the BOV to the manifold? Also i can barely hear the bov until i hit full boost. Let me know guys!!!!

u do nnot want to run it of the manifold. the manifold provides boost and vacum, that is something to hook up ur boost gauge and blow off valve up to. for ur waste gate actuator, u want to hook it into something that is just boost with no vacum. what i do with mine, is on the silicone hose coupler that is used for clamping my intercooler piping to my turbo, i put a small hole in it and stuck a nipple through there, i use that to run a hose to my wastegate actuator. here is the link

but i have heard that vacuum can ruin ur wastgate actuator though.

as for the turbo and the oil line restrictor, that all depends on the turbo and im no turbo tech. i havde heard from many that ball bearing turbos require a restrictor, but people also say that it is important to use the right restrictor size, not just the smalles one u have. ur gonna need to do some serious research on that to make sure u have u oil lines done right. whether or not that is the problem here, its not something u want to be done wrong.

good luck
