Where to route the block heater?

I wanted to route the block heater to somewhere handy today, but I noticed that the cod has several tie-wraps with those little clips that are made to fit into pre-cut openings, which made me think that there might be a specific route where the cord could clip into the chassis safely, out of any moving parts.

Any insight? Pics of actual block heater cord placement?
