Factory has a vaccum hose plumbed behind head and T'd into the cap on the back of the intake plenum. My friend suggests locating it before the throttle body, and another place Ive seen it sourced is right off the hot pipe.

Where do you guys have yours located, and for what reasons?

Also, Im plumbing a fuel pressure gauge and have a quick question about that. Do I T the pressure source into the fuel feed line, or the return from the pressure regulator?

And lastly, is anybody using a mechanical water temp gauge? Not sure If I want it in the lower radiator hose or upper?

I prefer my boost source to be tapped into the manifold. You can T off one of the vacuum lines or find an unused port.

You're fuel pressure gauge should be located post filter, pre fuel rail.

My boost reference for my boost gauge is from back of the intake mani, for my BOV just behind the throttle body, and for my boost controller on the turbo outlet.

I am using an electric gauge, but you want it in the upper rad hose. The water pumps out to the radiator through the upper hose, so if you get the temp reference from the lower hose, you are seeing "cold" water, and not getting an accurate reading of how hot your motor is really running.

So Im having a bit of trouble sourcing a pressure T to plumb my fuel pressure gauge. Neither aeroquip, earls, nor russel sells the barbed type where I would just push the fuel hoses on, and use hose clamps to secure.

What they have (smallest) is a -3 an male fitting on both ends, with a pressure port in the middle. Im not trying to use stainless braided fuel lines, so this really isnt what Im looking for. If anyone could point me in the right direction, thatd be great.

not to post jack but i just had a question cause i have my BOV T-ed off from the same vacuum line that is going to my wastegate, which is coming from the port after the throttle body in the intake mani, but yet my bov isnt working or not getting enough pressure to work... any idea why or is this not a correct way to hook it up

Your bov should not be t'ed or anything from anywhere you should have it running to the larger one of the nipples on the side of the intake manifold near the middle the one right after the throttle body just run the vacuum straight from there.

I'm using one of these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...d=1,1

which is the standard equivalence compatible with OEM metric fuel hose. I've got an underhood fuel pressure gauge I'm going to screw on there. You could probably buy this peice then source a barb with threads on the other end and screw that in the port.

I searched the web forever myself.....then ebay forever until I found the item listed on some guys "web store" (not found with the regular search). They even have one version with 2 ports.

I figured the ebay search would yield me nothing, and that my best bet would be in sellers stores.

There are so many though, how did you narrow down your search to specific stores?
