My pyrometer (EGT gauge) sensor, pre or post turbo? I don't know how many of you guys use a pyro, but I know on diesels (most of my experience with 'em) we try to put it pre turbo if possible but I don't know what the prefered method is on a gas engine . Thanks!

Pre-turbo ftw.... in fact, the best place to put it is in the cylinder that runs the leanest/hottest. #4 runner on the manifold at least 3" from the head would be good.

I put mine in the collector area where the runners come together to feed the turbo.

There is a plug in the back of the head that blocks off a passage going into #4 exhaust runner. I'm sure you could figure a way to put the pyrometer sensor in there. That's what I am doing anyways.
