Hey I have an 2002 maxima withOUT Bose. I recently purchashed a 7" monitor and dvd player. My problem is I dont know where to mount it. I want it to be in the drivers compartment. I was thinking of having it flip down from where the sunglass holder flips down. I know that would block the rear view mirror but I wouldn't be driving while its on. Anyone have any other ideas. Id rather use my idea as kinda a last resort if possible. I have and aftermarket head unit going in also if it matters.

Block off the center vents and relocate the stereo to there. Mount the 7" where the factory stereo was.

lol Id rather have the airbag hit me rather then a t.v. if I were ever to get in an accident.

I haven't seen it done before, but it wouldn't be that hard to do at all. There's tons of room back there, and the fab work would be pretty simple. This is not to say that it would be cheap!
