i had a crappy sound system in my j before that actually sounded good. i had a el-cheapo sony 1000 watt amp that actually only made about 250w rms. i ran 8ga wire with that and found a way to ground it righ to the frame through the bolts in the bottom of the trunk. now i have an infinity amp 600 watts rms and infinity subs so im using 4ga wire and can no longer use the ground i used before. wont fit. the amp is in my trunk mounted to a piece of plywood thats covered by the piece that devides the trunk and gas tank looks great but my amp keeps cutting out.

With sedan installs I usually use one of the rear seat belt mounts.
