I already know I can get them from SparkPlugs.com. However, if at all possible I would like to avoid buying over the internet.

Are there any stores in the Dallas area that carry them? I may try some raceshops north of me. Autozone doesn't carry them (big shock there), I already checked.

that's not entiresly true

certain shop will carry certain things. For instance, one of the local kragen here does not carry mobile1 oil.. how gay is that?

one of the autozone in my area carries ngk iridium plugs while another location carries no ngk at all...

I'd advise you to look up the store locator and call each store to find out.

Wierd, I will do that then. I am just trying to price a full tune up right now. Plugs, wires, belts, cap, filters. The only thing I can't handle right now would be the radiator flush. I have read horror stories about that (trapped air bubbles) and I don't think I will do that myself.

trapped air bubbles are for sissies

there is really nothing to it. I changed my friend's radiator and fluid without knowing I'm doing and it's fine.

Just turn on the heater and top off the pre mixed radiator fluid as it get hot.

I believe those air bubble creates what they call a hot spot, maybe you can look it up... also, check out redline water wetter

It was just something I read about in technical, that the KA's cooling system is notorious for trapping significant amounts of air in the system. I have never done the timing myself on an engine or a belt change. So I believe that I will do those myself and be content with that for now. One step at a time, right?

Or perhaps I can leave the coolant system be for now. It is not a problem like the belts are right now (squealing).

the coolant system is kinda hard, but if you do the steps found on the fsm it should be easy, get something like Spill Free(it helps with takin out the air from the radiator)

as for ngk plugs i bought mine from O'Reilly Auto parts store.(i live in arlington, almost next to dallas)

Thank you. OK, so I can go off the price on the site. Like I said, right now I am trying to put together a price on a tune up. So far I am upto just over $100 for everything.
