where to get LS1

Well I have a 91 S13 and want to do LS1 swap like Mikespeeds but i dont know where to get an engine or mount kit. and also what all is needed for this swap.

I've seen a lot of LS1's on craigslist. If I was going to do an LS1 swap I would buy a car with something wrong with it and sell the shell. Or if you're on a budget you could do a small block swap?

well i was just using him as an example and also yes I know I would have to have a deep pocket for his swap but his car is a beast till he blew it up.

I got mine from a guy in Bishopville SC if you are willing to travel a little bit. He has a F&Y Body junkyard with tons of LS motors for a reasonable price. I picked mine up for 3500 with the T56 transmission, ecu, harness etc... This guy actually makes the custom harnesses for hybrid swaps as well and they are very good quality and he will cut you a deal on the harness if you get the motor from him.

please give me more information on this junkyard! im in virginia and also thinking about doing an ls1 swap, and the harness and all that stuff would come in extremely handy. website, location, number would be best probably
