where to get an sr

Hey can anyone help me out and tell me where i could find an sr20de engine from a silvia, the Q model ? If i can get any help on where to get one it would help alot. thanks.

I have searched, its just that the srde isnt really a popular engine for the 240's and i dont know how i would contact duantless if he wont even reply to my post. I've searched all the search engines and everything.

Why do you want a sr20de, if your going to swap a motor you should go to a sr20det. I think it would be about the same price, but I may be wrong.

well thats the thing i dont know about so im triing to find out.(price) If it is about the same i would go for the det but i just gotta wait and find out.

umm i might be wrong but wouldnt a 2.4 KA make more power than a 2.0 SR20DE?

KA24DE makes 155hp SR20DE (i think makes 165-170) correct cuase im worng

the problem with the KA motors is from my understanding the cast iron block can't handle the boost pressure like an alluminum block. Tech. speaking you may be right. more litters=more power but since it's an iron block, you'll have a little more work on your hands justs to make sure it dosent' break down...thats one of the reasons as to why some people don't even bother with the motor i believe...!

it is true that the ka can its just i wouldn't want to risk it and blow the engine, i trust the sr can take more pain. Plus the money and power issue, i believe the ka doesn't put out that much power for the amount of money spend on an sr, but thats just my thoughts.
