Ive heard good things about Kaaz and Cusco LSD's. Theres always the Nismo diff. Stock VLSD are hard to find. The J30 diff will bolt in, so most people use that one.

Honestly, I think a OEM VLSD could handle the power, but if you want to spend money, get a clutch type LSD. Do some searching and learn what the 1.5 and 2 way mean. Then come back and tell me

J30 95 or 96 direct bolt on. Junk yard for about 200 bucks. Make sure you get the 2 bolts and washers that bolt the front carrier.

you can use the earlier models too but you have to get the axles also. This goes for NA 300zx diff's too. (the turbo diff will work but it's geared ALOT lower and will screw with your speedo and really bog the car down)

You'll have to swap over your diff cover but this is the most cost effective option. I think this series of diff is classified as R200

If you ever have plans on going ka-t(you did post it here anyway) the j30 vlsd will probably be optimal because it has a slightly higher gear ratio. Get one with 3x2 output-shaft bolt pattern for the easiest swap(I think those are post-95 j30's).

Next time, post this in the suspension/brake forum, or 240sx technical. I don't know why you'd post it here.

Yeah the j30 lsd is a breeze to install as long as you get the 95+ differential. Also you might want to stay away from the kaaz or cusco, unless youre hardcore about driving and drifting. The rattle, ride rough, and you have to service them every 3000 miles.
