Do any of you know where you can get an adjustable rear upper control arm for a 92 240sx?I lowered my car 1.75 inches all the way around now the rear has bad negative camber. Also when you buy an aftermarket gas strut is the strut shorter than the factory one because the front strut on my car doesn't have much travel?I cut the bumstop down in half.If any of you can help me I would greatly appreciate it.

no after market struts will not have a shorter body. All struts like kyb agx, kyb gr-2, tokico, Gab all have the exact same body.

You short travel in the front is a common problem w/ 240's thats why alot of people resort to a full coil over setup. But match a some tokico or kyb agx (kyb gr-2 are just a factory replacment) struts with your lowereing springs and you'll be fine!

Yes they DO have a shorter shock body. Please don't post misinformation if you don't know what you are talking about.:bash

From Gab:Quote »Super Stroke Series -- The new GAB Super Stroke low-pressure gas shocks will give your car a whole new level of performance never before possible. Achieving that performance without bottoming and bump steering. GAB technology has produced the shorter body shocks combining exceptional valving with performance ride. Like all other GAB shocks, the new Super Stroke shocks have rebound and compression adjustability, allowing you to fine-tune your suspension to your driving style. A reduced shock body avoids bottoming suspension and changing geometry. [/quote]And FYI the KYB Buzz Spec struts are the exact same thing as the GAB Super Stroke struts. Actually, KYB makes ALL of GAB's struts.

dori dori i understand that the strut rod may be shorter (thus providing the shorter stroke) on the GAB or kyb buzz spec, but when i said there is no other strut w/a shorter body, i ment the maine strut casing length and i still have never seen any like that. so i dunno im going to surf through that site you posted and see whats in there.
