i think most people will recommend these shops:phase2motortrendheavythrottle.

although i have no experience with the guys at heavythrottle, they do have a good reputation around these and other nissan boards.

and for the guys at phase2, well, there's no explanation needed.

good luck with your motor search.

I got mine from Enjuku and it was VERY clean. Also Phase2motortrend and Heavy throttle are known to do the best business in the US

I'm suprised... Enjuku and I didnt really get along this summer. I ordered an alternator from them and it took them a month to get it out to me. Yea, there was the hurricanes and such, but I was just a hop skip and a jump away from them at Tyndall AFB.

Go with the masses, phase2 or heavyT, cant go wrong with them.

I was planning on http://www.venus-auto.com because their in sacramento and i can go pick one out (plus no shipping), but i've also heard some good things about them, like they cover you on broken parts.

You're welcome to try these but i have no experience and/or heard anything of them http://www.nipponmotors.com http://www.xatracing.com

I bought my motor from them, but was unable to pick it out myself since I live on the East Coast. Look for these things:

1) Clip damage, as in from a front end collision2) Dirty motor3) All parts accounted for.

Be careful, whomever you decide to buy your motor from. I figured I'd save some money going with Venus, and I got fokked. I am in the middle of a yearlong, $2,600 rebuild.

I can understand a hurrican hurting enjuku's ability to do business for a while... Here are some shots of their product.
