I am going to be making my DP soon, and I need a mild steel 2 bolt cat flange (with slots) and a T3 5 bolt gasket. Anyone know where I can get either at a decent price? Maybe a sponsor?

If the mating flange (5 bolt) that attaches to the downpipe is finely machined, a gasket is not necessary. In fact, it's better to omit the gasket whenever possible to eliminate another possibile leak source. Gasket = weak point. I run with no gasket and have no leaks so far.

Hope this information helps ya out, man. I know you've been incredibly patient in getting your turbo project complete.

i'm not sure about the gasket, but you'll definitely need that little tial valve seat if your tial didn't come with one in the packing. 38mm?http://www.atpturbo.com/Mercha...e=WGT

i've ordered twice from these guys, they're a great company.

Yeah, the guy I got the flange from told me not to use a gasket, he suggested that I use a belt sander to fine finish. 25 is definately better than 30, I was hoping for cheaper, but I doubt I will find it. I may just have to bite that bullet.

Thanks for the heads up, but apparently ATP wanted a flat of 14.90 to ship, and Road Race only wanted nine, so I saved almost a buck by going with Road Race. Bought my Downpipe Stuff too. KA-t here I come.

Anybody know of a good place to get aluminum tubing to make fittings for hoses on intercooler piping? Or if I braze copper or steel to aluminum, will it be strong enough?
