I wanted to take some automotive courses so I can have some more hands on experience with working on cars. I am currently a senior in high school and we dont have any auto courses or anything at my school. I dont need a course where I get a degreee or anything cause I dont plan on my career being a mechanic. Id like to take on after weekends or in the summer. Anyone have an idea of where I can find a course like this. Ive searched the web and I cant really find anything. If anyone has takin a few courses like these then just tell me what u did and where I can get some info. Id like to find some courses close to home in Louisville, KY.

Look for your local community college, or see if there's an adult ed/career center around, they usually offer something like that

Community college is an excellent recommendation. The CC nearest me only charges $11/credit which is as cheap as you can get without being on scholarship.http://www.collegesurfing.com/...te=KYThe problem with "odd hour" classes is that they're often held with less frequency than normal classes, so the hours are longer. I've seen Saturday classes that go from 8-5 with an hour for lunch. That was for 1 automotive class and a lab.

Yeah Brian, I know they are around. I am almost certain JCC offers some automotive courses.
