How many do you need?indaoceanalldatime wrote:So I recently attempted the gauge Cluster LED switch and broke one of the factory light sockets. I didn't realize how fragile they were.
Anyone have ANY idea where I could find some cheap replacements? I called the Nissan dealer in my area and the guy quoted me $26 a piece!
Btw, I've been lurking on the forums for awhile. Really appreciate the work you guys have been putting out. Thanks for any kinda help with this.

It's only 29cents for piece base and 3bucks for the pigtail socket.
I need the black base (Odometer), so I don't know if I could use the brown high beam base. Good idea though.Natedogg1701 wrote:i just took the middle brown bulb out, (its the high beam indicator) and used that one.
Just one black base. I tried replacing the odometer cluster first and broke one of the tiny little metal clips trying to get the bulb out. I haven't tried taking any other bases out yet (I intend to take out the two main cluster lamps), but I doubt I'll break another. Knock on wood.Empty V wrote:How many do you need?
In the tutorial, it says that it is necessary to keep the factory sockets because aftermarket probably won't fit.JonathanPrem wrote:IF your talking about the small tiny base that goes on the Leds-picture-

Yeah, aftermarket bases will most definitely not work with your vehicle. Your best bet is to see if the dealer can order the correct ones, even though they have a history of ordering the wrong ones. If you give them one of the bases and tell them not to call you until they have the exact ones in stock then you should be fine, but you will be without an illuminated cluster until then.indaoceanalldatime wrote:

I suppose that the upgrade from 2002 to 2003 models that disallowed using new bases may probably exist in the 2004 models as well?
Hah, I could live without my Odometer at night for now. Thanks everyone for your input...Pwnin O’Brien wrote:
